Thanks for flagging some of the HOTAS issues to us. We have a few fixes in the works thanks to your reports, including for the deadzones, and we'll share more details as soon as we can.

@Straatford87Tom I want to ask that, because of the temper right now, that you and your team be over transparent about fixing this issue. Give us some status updates, and as soon as you can, an ETA on getting it fixed. Also - this is a really bad bug - how did it get missed?
Also note that I have stopped trying to play the game until the performance issues and HOTAS deadzones have been fixed as to not go over the 2 hour steam limit for refunds. This really, really deflates the launch. I know problems occur but the issues people are having indicate that this game was not play tested very well at all.

I'm a retired software support guy. Please don't do this until the problem is actually fixed. Just because you think it's fixed doesn't mean that it is.

Same issue with X52. I second the comment about the Steam refund period being extended. It's impossible to determine whether this is a good or bad game when you're flying like a drunkard.

@Straatford87Issue is not fixed. Don't know why you would mark it as such. This is my number 1 issue making the game unplayable with HOTAS.

+1 with the X52. Messed with it today after a small patch downloaded, but it's not fixed. I can move it 30+% with no change to the ship :-/

This should be one of the first priority fixes. The game is literally unplayable for a huge portion of the playerbase waiting on the devs to fix a simple cfg value

There was a patch earlier that reduced the dead zone for me by about half. It is a lot better and playable now. There is still a small dead zone there though, with the controls menu dead zone set to zero. I have an X55.

Adding to the pile
Using a Warthog HOTAS and TM rudder pedals. All 3 devices are recognized by the game but huge binding and deadzone issues. Unusable. Please include rudder pedals in your fix. HOTAS like the warthog do not have a twist Z axis so pedals are a huge help for smooth and immersive flight. Currently when I try to bind the rudder pedals to 'Roll" (i know i know). It will only bind the axis in one direction either right or left. never both. Does nothing while in flight. Same for the throttle. The 3 issue is that anytime I try to bind buttons on my HOTAS that are not the default it tries to bind the whole axis of the device instead. Please patch this. I hate flying controller

Do you know that you unplug your throttle, start game, bind the rudder pedals, exit game, plug in throttle then restart? this allowed me to bind my rudder pedals with my X56.

Any update on when this is fix is going to be rolled out? I feel like I am missing out on all the good stuff while playing with mouse and keyboard and my hotas gathering dust at the moment.
