Large, unchangeable deadzone when using HOTAS, in-game options do NOT change it.

    Hi Pilots,

    Thanks again for flagging this issue to us. With Update 1.1, we've added the following fix for the HOTAS deadzone:

    • Added options in the menu called “Controller Global Deadzone" and "Flight Stick Global Deadzone” which will allow you to modify the deadzone individually for standard controllers and Flight Sticks

Using the Logitech X52 pro and having the EXACT same problem.. Only I feel 20% is a bit on the conservative side, I'd go as far as saying its closer to 30-40%.

    It´s always the same and it's a shame! Hardly any developer cares about PC players - all they really focus on are consoles and controllers. This results in menues and UIs that are horrible to navigate from a PC gamers view. MOUSE and KEYBOARD and JOYSTICKS are a thing, you know?! So sick of it! With SW Squadrons EA didn't even bother to properly test the HOTAS integration. I'm VERY dissapointed. Had high hopes for this game.

      Two other ways you know they're only focusing on controllers:  Extremely high TTK that is the complete opposite of SW media, and auto-aim on every weapon.  With a TTK like the movies you wouldn't need auto aim because a volley of aimed shots will take out a fighter
