Legacy controls for Battlefront for xbox one not working

I just bought Battlefront for the xbox one.  When switching to the Legacy control scheme the left thumbstick won't work.  My character will very slowly turn left or right and that is it.  Is there so...

I have this problem too. Legacy controls for Battlefront for xbox one are indeed broken.

I just got a refund exception from Amazon based on this issue.
