Legacy controls for Battlefront for xbox one not working

I just bought Battlefront for the xbox one. When switching to the Legacy control scheme the left thumbstick won't work. My character will very slowly turn left or right and that is it. Is there so...

I just got a refund exception from Amazon based on this issue. I suggest others do the same.

Thanks guys, sorry for not getting back sooner, I was hoping to get a meatier answer.

This issue has been escalated and it looks like an easy enough fix, but unfortunately I don't have an ETA.

This doesn't mean that it's far off at all, and if I can get a solid confirmation of the date (not likely, sorry) I'll update the thread.

  It just really stinks to own the game finally and not be able to play it. It just sits there and pisses me off. I could have bought Halo 5 or Fallout 4 and be happy playing either of those, but I'm out $80 because I bought the Deluxe version.

  Thanks bro. Every day that passes since the release of this game without the perhaps tens of thousands of us Legacy users being able to play it sucks. Especially the first few weeks of the game's release; these are the best weeks of a games lifetime, and all of us Legacy players are missing out.

    Hey everyone. We're all in the same boat here, being Legacy thumbstick players, so I think we can all understand what I'm about to ask of you all. Microsoft has released an app on Xbox One called "Xbox Accessories." This app lets the player remap what the buttons do when you press them. You could switch the A button with the Right Bumper, for example.
    
    There is feedback forum called Xbox Uservoice, or Xbox Request a Feature. There are a few postings there asking for the devs of Xbox Accessories to include Thumbstick Remapping for both the normal Xbox Controller and the Elite Controller. The app doesn't currently support Thumbstick Mapping, only button mapping. This is a core Microsoft app for the Xbox. If they were to do this, we wouldn't be sitting asking DICE to patch their game or add additional thumbstick layouts. We could play all the games (backwards compatible games too) that don't have Legacy thumbstick options in the game. Please come and upvote this post and the others like it! We need it!

This is unacceptable EA. Almost every FPS has this option including titles that your company developed! (BATTLEFIELD) I don't understand how something like this could be missed by quality control. Please fix ASAP before someone else waste their money to just wait.

  I will be switching to Halo 5 - which does easily support Legacy controls. HOW HARD CAN THIS REALLY BE TO FIX!?!?! I have contacted microsoft regarding a refund and I'm waiting for a reply - RETURN YOUR GAME IF YOU CAN. Total BS that there isn't an ETA on this yet.
