Legacy controls for Battlefront for xbox one not working

I just bought Battlefront for the xbox one.  When switching to the Legacy control scheme the left thumbstick won't work.  My character will very slowly turn left or right and that is it.  Is there so...

It shouldn't take this long for a simple patch, wats annoying is that my friends who use default thumb sticks could care less as they have the luxury of being ignorant to worrying about thumb stick control schemes,

it must be nice start up an fps game ignore thumb stick control options like they don't exist and go right to the fun

Dare I ask it... Will this game get fixed in time for Christmas? And, should I keep quiet about this problem?
