For any pre-order content you'll get the codes from your retailer. Once redeemed the codes on your platform, you'll be able to find the content in-game as described by @jmordreddev

I pre ordered online from GameStop.com I have no pre order code for the content, just the code in the box for the deluxe content, nothing in the receipt emailed to me, and it even says preorderd.
