Lost BD-1 after killing Bounty Hunter in arena

I was fighting the bounty hunter, was captured and put in underground jail. After figuring out a way to escape the cell, it prompts you to find BD-1. On my way to finding BD, I made a clumsy mistake ...

I have the same problem but got it on a different way.

I did not know that's possible to use the cable of BD-1's jail as a liana. Because of that I did not connect the cable with the energy port above his door and thought to find maybe a way to release BD-1 by using the elevator. Arrived in the next floor I followed the tunnel and has fought in the arena. After the battle I was rescued and... now I haven't BD-1 anymore and would also like to know if there is a workaround to get him back. Maybe a save game reset or something like that. 

For know, I expect that's not possible to continue with the game...

@Desentyer I had this problem aswel, a solution would be if they added a barrier infront of the arena and you need bd-1 to be able to continue, i just contacted customer support and they said they where not aware of this problem, witch is normal because the game just came out. Fingers crossed until they wil fix this.

    So are you saying they could possibly patch this? Or should I go ahead and restart the game for now

      @derwboy97 not sure, They told me the team wil do everything to bring the bd-1 back.
