Make a thing where you can turn your lightsaber to a single lightsaber

I want to make Obi-Wan and Qui-Gons lightsaber. But I’ve been blindsided by the fact that you can not revert your lightsaber back to one single blade. I know you can only activate one blade but I really don’t want the other end of the lightsaber on. I hate the looks of a duel bladed lightsaber. I just want to make a cool lightsaber.
