man.. I was an expert in 90's at Xwing vs TieFighter but I can't fly this game

man.. I was an expert in 90's at Xwing vs TieFighter but I can't figure this game out now. I've played with mouse settings but it's hard to fly and hit anything b/c u barely move mouse and it swings ...

@CloudWalker60 If you can, try to get a stick with twist for roll. Mouse play has got to be awful. Hotas is wildly overpriced 3x normal right now for the cheaper ones.

@GRDNANGL172I'd counter with rudders for Yaw, Stick X-Axis for Roll. You can get some very smooth flying when using 'correct' controls. I see so many clips and streams where people are just yawing and pitching like crazy and never rolling, but rolling into the same plane as the target makes shooting A LOT easier.
