@CLEARBAY327 there are some great tips here. I'll add two engine types that could help: microthruster (maneuverability), or propulsion (100% acceleration). I prefer the propulsion engine. Also, when in a tie-F/I/B you can shunt subsystem power to engines to fill boost (learn boost/drifting).
