Message: Please update Intel Driver

I received this message, even after updating:

"Detected Intel driver version 10.18.10.4425 04/04/2016 00:00:00.  The recommended driver version is xx.xx.14.4264 or later.  Please update your drivers at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ before playing the game.

Do you want to try and run the game anyway?  There may be stability, performance or visul corruption issues."

The game still will not load.  Any help would be appreciated.

I can tell you now that if you took that error message seriously, you are most likely going to need to get a game refund -- Intel's video isn't good enough, no matter what driver is involved.  I'll look at the DxDiag now ..

(Five minutes later)  There's a great deal more wrong that only being able to use a Lego Toy of a video devive.

Instead of a normal full power CPU, you only have a dual core Celeron.  The game requires a full power quad core processor.  It also requires 8 GBs of system memory, and you have only half of that.  There is no other video device revealed by the DxDiagm and the real thing, from a real graphics company, is definitely required, sorry!

    Thanks Gorath,

Sorry for being such a noob; this is all new to me.

The game is Star Wars Battlefront.  When I click to load the game, I get the message aforementioned message.  I updated the driver but the results are the same.  The system dxdiag is http://hastebin.com/vujenezuci.tex

I attempted to load several times, but still no results.

Please let me know if I need to include anything else.

    Thank you again Gorath.

Looks like I need to attempt to get a refund.  I will investigate that.  I greatly appreciate your help.

@fbseymore You can find information about getting a refund through the great game guarantee here

In future you might want to check out the system requirements for a game before purchasing so you don't run into this issue again. 😉 Good luck 🙂
