That pass isn't made by EA. It's made by Sony. Sony asks you to pay for the subscription to access online portion of the game. You'll have to talk with Sony about this since EA has nothing to do with it.
The same applies to the other games. Games on PC don't require online pass to play them multiplayer, you just need the game.
