Online age restriction per country - Ukrainian PSN account, reside in Slovakia.

As per this article I understand, that kids can't play online, due to EA policy:

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/online-access-for-child-accounts/#agerequirements

Here is the question - this restriction works based on PSN account information, or based on my physical location?

So, for example, I'm from Ukraine, I have Ukrainian PSN account, but now I live in Slovakia. So will my son not be able to play till he is 16, according to Slovakia age restriction, or is it 13, as Ukraine is not listed, so it match with "Other than above: 13" statement?

Thanks.

  • Ok, I will answer to my own question - 16+ age is required, event if it's Ukrainian account.

    It's logically, I'm agree.

I've made some additional search in internet, and here is really good article with detailed explanation about age restriction per each European country:

    https://www.betterinternetforkids.eu/web/portal/practice/awareness/detail?articleId=3017751

So it's not about EA policy, or other games developers\publishers - its on country low level.

It's a bit annoying that in Ukraine (my country of origin) online content is available from 13 years, while in Slovakia (where I live now) - it's 16 years old. So my son needs to wait for year and 3 months to get his online game play.
