What do you expect to see? My game controller amongst the list of mappable controllers.

What components were you using? Was trying to use Warthog Joystick and Throttle and VKB Rudder pedals (without success) :-(

I have 7 game controllers attached, but the game only allows me to choose from (presumably) the first four it encounters when it enumerates the list of available controllers.
My flight stick, rudder pedals and throttle are apparently at the wrong end of that list and as a result are not made available for mapping in-game.

What do you expect to see? HOTAS controls to work - mapping to be intelligent, common platforms such as x56 to be detected and actually map to something sensible

HOtas bindings are absolutely screwed, this is just one issue
1) I cannot select a 'primary joystick for flight, secondary for throttle' - the menu option for this is completely missing
2) trying to map the controls manually & my joystick is "2" and throttle is "1", so everything binds to the throttle instead - which is just ridiculous
3) remapping ALL The controls is yet again frustrating and doesn't work half the time (I have to unplug the throttle to map some controls)
4) in hangar menu for say practise the view will constantly spin unless I set the mapped throttle controls to 0 - even though I want to navigate with my mouse/joystick/anything other than throttle
5) massive deadzone in game (this has been reported and needs to be fixed!)
6) sensitivity is just broken, it either goes from hardly moving to a massive turn/yaw/spin which is just unplayable
I've tried to get onboard with it and absolutely LOVE the VR view when it works, but this is just unplayable right now.. which is a crying shame..
this has massively killed the launch for me, prepurchased, waited up and preloaded (game files were corrupt so had to redownload), VR kept crashing (toggle sitll does not work).. serious QA issues..
Please do better!! This has massively damaged your reputation - joystick controls should NOT be hard to implement!! they've been around quite literally decades
under Options, Controls, near the bottom you can select what flight stick 1, 2 and 3 are. the game DOES have a bug where if there are more than 4 devices it may not pick the RIGHT 4 devices. I would have liked that the game "know" that my throttle device was going to control my throttle functions, but it was not difficult to remap. i'm using the thrustmaster t.16000 and have 0 problems.
