Squadrons doesn't recognize my USB devices.
Yes, there are a lot of them.
No, that shouldn't matter at all.
See attached pictures.
Windows, DCS, MSFS 2020, FSX, X-Plane, and every other program under the sun sees all game controllers.
Squadrons only sees the two listed.
I've unplugged all other USB HIDs and Squadrons will see the pedals, stick, and throttle.
This just means your code is trash, because I should be able to select which controls I want to use from all available controls.
Any decent sim can manage this.
I shouldn't have to unplug my controllers to play a game.
So the question is: how can one re-arrange the list of USB devices? I believe the issue is the order in which Windows sees them.

Yea I am in the same boat. I haven't really played since launch hoping that some of these last few patches would address this. At first I could see 3 devices in the menu options but I foolishly booted up the game with all my stuff plugged in, multiple MFDs and whatnot. It recognized the little joystick on my Logitech G13 as it's own device and even after rebooting the game with the G13 unplugged I still couldn't clear it from the devices that the game would recognize so it was just taking up that 3rd slot even though it wasn't plugged in. I went as far as to dig for an ini file and found one that had a fourth device listed, it was blank though. I deleted the entries for all the devices in the ini but when rebooting the game it repopulated the ini file with the old stuff, so idk what's going on there. I gave up after that hoping patches would fix it up. Now with the latest patch it only shows 2 devices in the menus. For them to say it has HOTAS support and it be like this is laughable. Someone, if not multiple people, should be embarrassed. This was a real disappointment. I will still be putting my playing of the game off in hopes of this getting sorted out. I still have hope. I really want to enjoy it when I play through it. I did give the controller a go and it was okay, the game seems great. But I can only imagine how much more I'd be enjoying it with my stick, throttle, rudders, and head tracking all working. That is really how I want to play the game and I'm sure it would be epic.
