PC DISK Starwars Battlefront "redeem your code" problem.

Bought a hard copy of Starwars Battlefront from EB games.

Inserted the 1st cd.

entered the product code.

code was redeemed.

Next step was for installation of game from the discs but when i clicked next it said "install failed, please try again or download it from website"

I retried the install with the discs but it needed me to type in the product code again.

after entering the same code as before that i purchased with my hard copy, it said that the product key was already in use (from the previous attempt of installing beforehand).

the game does not show up in "my games"

i have tried refreshing and even uninstalling and reinstalling origin.

Nothing has changed

What do i do?

    Turned out i was using the 16 digit code for the pre-order for battle of jakku which is the most visually obvious code on the 3 sheets included in the disc case.

    the 20 digit code was hidden on the back of the black and white sheet down the very bottom.

    There's supposed to be a pause / stop / continue routine that will skip the code entry step, but given the failure of your local client to sync with the master Origin program, I think you may have to exit your Origin client completely and restart it to get the ownership situation clear in the game library. 

    The method to skip a "reinstall" error about CD-Keys is in a FAQ on Help Center somewhere.

    I am afraid a similar thing happened to me.  I usd the Battle of Jakku redeem code by accident when I was installing the game initially and now I cannot get access to Battle of Jakku because it is sayin gthe redeem code is invalid.  I have no picture of Battle of Jakku on my games screen and I seem to have no way of correcting the issue.  Battle of Jakku does not appear in the game menu so it all seems a little screwed up.  You would think that the redeem code would be reset if it was used when the main game itself was not installed.
