There's supposed to be a pause / stop / continue routine that will skip the code entry step, but given the failure of your local client to sync with the master Origin program, I think you may have to exit your Origin client completely and restart it to get the ownership situation clear in the game library.

I am afraid a similar thing happened to me. I usd the Battle of Jakku redeem code by accident when I was installing the game initially and now I cannot get access to Battle of Jakku because it is sayin gthe redeem code is invalid. I have no picture of Battle of Jakku on my games screen and I seem to have no way of correcting the issue. Battle of Jakku does not appear in the game menu so it all seems a little screwed up. You would think that the redeem code would be reset if it was used when the main game itself was not installed.
