[PC] Problem Starting the Game

So i pre-loaded the game and had it all ready for today's release. I got home and tried playing it; it didn't work. Whenever I try and play it, a window pops up that is the "Featured Today" window and it says "Great Shot, Kid! Thanks for playing! Pre-order and join the Battle of Jakku one week early." Then there's a button that says "Learn More". If I click on it, it takes me to where I can pre-order the game (which I've already done). At this point, I've restarted my computer, tried putting in commands like "-borderless" and things like that, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game three times now, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Origin, I've updated my drivers, I've reloaded my games, and I've tried going offline to play it. None of these had any affect, except for the window not coming up when I went offline. So, my patience is running EXTREMELY thin, as I've tried every possible thing that I can think of. Anyone have a solution to this? Attached is an image of what it looks like when I try and start up the game. Thanks!

  • I am having the same exact issue as you and i've spent the last 6 hours trying to troubleshoot. Hopefully somebody has a solution soon...

    I have the same problem only windows tells me " Battlefront beta stopped working"

    And THIS is the erro. ( is in spanish sorry)

    The contents of the "Appcrash" report are meaningless, AFAIK, to the volunteers here.  Try this, instead:

    @xPclynnx 

    We needed more and better diagnostic information.  Anyone wanting this community's suggestions needs to do their own part, including submitting a DxDiag report for a PC platform problem. 

  • I had an issue with APPCRASH. If your on windows 7, try installing service pack 1, I have seen it worked for a number of people. For me, I upgraded to windows 10 and it started working.
