[PC] Star Wars Battlefront has stopped working

Same problem with different graphics card. I have the AMD Radeon 6900 Series running on Windows 7 Ultimate (x64bit) and when I try to launch the game it immediately shows a black start-up window followed by "STARWARS Battlefront has stopped working." After a few seconds of scanning for a solution, new dialogue appears in the error box as, "A Problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Here is the problem signature:

I have installed Windows Service Pack 1 and still no change.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still no change.
The AMD site offers no updates to my drivers. I used a third party updating for my driver and still no change.
-- I restored my computer to its conditions prior to the third party installation, and as expected still no change.

Same I'm not shocked this is typical EA I check the logs saw that it couldn't access a file ran the game as ADMIN and it works.

Hey guys, the faulting module here is "MSVCR120.dll," which means it has to do with Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. Try going to your Control Panel and uninstalling all of them, and reinstalling all of them here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003

No one at Answer HQ (at least none I've seen say so) have references for interpreting anyone's Appcrash reports, sorry about that.  More data that can be actually put to use (DxDiag Reports) are required here. 

@ChaoticLawful I did that yesterday and it didn't work. Today I went in the uninstall panel and found a C++ from 2005, 2010 and 2013. I ended up uninstalling all of it and reinstalling from here you linked. Now when I try to run the game I get: The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. Didn't I just reinstall it?

Someone else suggested reinstalling Origins and I did. After installing Origin I found 3 other C++ installed. Tried running the game and I'm back to where I started.

Where do you view problem signatures???

Oh snap, that sounds like a super vicious cycle there. I think MSVCP100.dll is for 2010 and, MSVCP120.dll is for 2013. Origin recently updated to require the 2013 files, so I think maybe there is a conflict there. Maybe multiple MSVCP120.dlls running at once and cancelling each other out?

I'm not super confident with that speculation, I'm just brainstorming.

If you go to the game location and run the vcredist_x64.exe program there, it might have a repair option you can utilize (Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\STAR WARS Battlefront\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist)

I would also try disabling UAC, running Origin as admin, and repairing the game in Origin to see if it will find it in its heart to actually fix the missing dll.

Running as admin had no effect for me

I am having this exact problem also, and this really agitates me. This was one of four games I built my first PC specifically for and it doesn't bleeping work? UGH. I am going to wait for a concrete fix and if I don't get that in a few days, I'll demand my money back. I'll just leave my specs here for now...
