I fixed this issue using x360ce_x64.
- download x360ce_x64.
- copy the executable to the root of the Squadrons installation folder (where starwarssquadrons.exe is located)
- run x360ce_x64.exe
- have it autodetect the Stadia controller (it'll download a correct button configuration from the Internet)
- go to the 'Game Settings' tab, and check all the XInput 64-bit filename options (v9.1, v1.1, v1.2, v1.3, v1.4)
- Synchronize to have it generate the dlls.
- close x360ce_x64
- launch the game
- Boom Fixed!
