Elite: Dangerous uses the same controls for mouse/kb and it has long been seen as the meta control scheme for PvP. Given the similarities with squadrons I think people need a bit more time to realise how OP it would be if M/KB was any easier to aim with.

No. Squadrons mouse control is similar to Elite Dangerous' flight-assist OFF control scheme.
It takes Elite Dangerous players literally YEARS before they even think about taking flight-assist off. And even then, it's still only used for specific circumstances.
(I have many, many hours in Elite by the way)
I find it sad that flight-stick users have very little honour. They drop into threads and do whatever they can to ensure that mouse and keyboard players remain hobbled.

A polite note to the OP: The title of this post possibly could be better, mate. The title makes it look as if you're referring to target-leading, like how some games show you to shoot a little ahead of the craft to hit it, which of course has nothing to do with your post. Nevertheless, though, I've seen at least one person in this thread reply to it as that.
This is hilarious because I use M/KB myself
I have tried the game on my HOTAS and game pad as well, M/KB is the most accurate option right now I'm not the one being deceptive. If you have many, many hours in Elite why don't you ask a mate from the PvP community what controls they are using in Squadrons and see if they think M/KB is broken as you say, you'll be laughed out

I was referring to others here and also those in a similar thread. But also you, to be honest (at least when it comes to this particular issue).It's not even up for debate that Squadrons mouse and keyboard controls are very terrible. The mouse controls should have been at the very LEAST as playable as Battlefront 2.
