problem with fps
hey, just bought the premium origin access so i can play the new star wars game, i searched the technical requirements for the game and everything seems to check out, my pc is pretty good with gtx 10...
@CorruptedUndead dude you are a hero.
Same original problem as you..I just turned the feature off completely originally, but then went back and whitelisted the program as advised in the first post about ACRONIS.. Then when I saw when you closed the game and opened it again that the FPS went to back into the toilet so I did that too, closed and reopened--no problem. Also, rebooted my computer and opened the game and it remains working as intended. Never went below 60 fps and everything seems fine. Anyway, good luck. I am grateful to @kkiamos00 for his suggestion and fix (at least for me).Opening screenshots, etc. are in low 1000 fps. menus lower but still extremely high; game is always 60+ fps.
UPDATE: Now several days later (it is Monday, November 18th) the fix is still working like a charm. I did go back and turn ACRONIS ACTIVE PROTECTION on and instead used Acronis whitelisting to indicate the program was safe. Off or On in Acronis, this has worked flawlessly for me since I learned about it on the ANSWER HQ
