PS4: You have lost connection to PlayStation Network

I keep receiving the "You have lost connection to Playstation(TM) Network, online features will be unavailable" error whenever I try to join online games. I have tried multiple game types, and still ...

I have also been having this problem I can usually join smaller game modes like heroes vs villains or hero hunt after a few times of trying. However on bigger 40 player game modes (which are more fun in my opinion) It often takes half an hour or more to finally get into a game. But once I got in the lobby after that certain game was over I found that if I stayed in the lobby and just let the next game start I could keep joining and never have an lag or connection problems in the game. I would try to port forward however I don't feel that I should be expected to do a bunch of things with my router and wifi just to be able to play a game that I spent top dollar on.

Aside from this problem the game is amazing and I hope that this problem gets resolved for all of us.

Ok, I have been having this issue since the game came out. The one guy on here has the fix. It works. I noticed most used Time warner. Time Warner uses a combo modem/router. I have my own router. You have to bridge their router/modem and disable the wireless and dhcp. I just did all this and have not gotten the error since. It works! I do have all the ports forwarded on my router that they suggested. I dont know if you have to since I had done that previously.
