PS4: You have lost connection to PlayStation Network

I keep receiving the "You have lost connection to Playstation(TM) Network, online features will be unavailable" error whenever I try to join online games. I have tried multiple game types, and still ...

This happens to me specifically when I click on a friend from the top "who's on" bar. It will start to pull up the "invite/join game" menu screen, then kicks me out to the main screen and freezes the game for like two minutes before displaying the "disconnected from playstation network" error.

I have the same problem. I haven't been able to play for weeks now. Is EA seriously just ignoring this problem? We shouldn't have to jump through hoops like this to play a game.....

    Still after the update i keep getting the same message: "You have lost connection to psn, online features will be unavailable"
