So in fleet battles, when you get to the third stage and you attack the flagship, what are you supposed to do first? Get the shields down right? (I mean the flagships shield meter, not shield generators)
How do you do damage to the flagships shield? Do you just attack the hull of the flagship? And also, why do the Ion bomb do zero damage at this stage? I think I might've misunderstood Ion damage from the start haha

I would wait for our Raider / Corvette at 1st. 🙂
(I mean rush alone will lead insta-death and enemy morale increase.)
...Yes, breaking the enemy capital ship is so important.
When you are far enough, 50m away or so, you can only deal damage to their shield.
(If the shield is on, you need to go inside the shield for dealing damage to their hull directly.)
ION weapons are very good for taking down their shield.
I love the ION torpedo. It deals massive ION damage to their shield from 1500m away. 😳
Also it can 1-shot enemy power system.
ION bomb can only deal damage to their shield but I heard they can also disable some subsystems.
Thanks for answering! Is there a range you have to be at for the Ion bomb to work? I went up to the capital ship and dropped Ion bombs on the hull of the ship and it did nothing. Can you be TOO close to the ship?
@Robbiesan11True dat, one of my more used loadouts is ion/proton bombs.
Use it on the corvettes, or later run on the capital ships.
