Greetings,since the last update I am experiencing random freezes when playing any game mode. Everything is going fine, and suddenly the screen freezes, the sound goes away and there is nothing I can do, I mean cant alt tab out of the game or anything. The only solution I found, is that I put my laptop to sleep mode or make a manual restart with the power on/off button. I would like to ask, that did any other players experience this thing too, or is it only my laptop? I had no problem playing before the update.My specs are:Intel core i7-4510U CPU @ 2GHz 2,6GHz8GB RAMNvidia Geforce 840M

The most unbelievable thing happened to me today! I was commenting on every EA Star Wars post on Facebook about this problem. So, every time they post something on Facebook I would copy-paste my comment. The comment was large, and it was briefly describing this problem we have, then I said that it's a large problem with many players and gave them link to this forum topic, and then politely asked them to answer us something related to problem.And today I went to Facebook to check if they answered anything at all, and found out that ALL my comments about this were deleted! Every single one!This is unbelievable censorship and repression by EA, and above all total disrespect to their buyers!

Hi,Same problem since the last update (january)GTM850MIntel core i7-4700HQ6GB RamDon't get me wrong, i know 8gb is the minimum. I have played 100 hours on ultra WITHOUT a single problem (apart from having to reinstall Origin).I tried to change the Nvidia driver but it did nothing. I play and randomly the game freeze and i have to force it to switch off. I also reinstalled Origin and it did nothing.I play Fallout 4 et Black Ops 3 without problems like this (of course not on ultra, on medium).I am pretty sur the last update broke something.

I've tried everything!Clean boot, running with Admin rights, running in window mode... Nothing helps at all! I'm so pissed!!!In my case, game just runs smoothly as ever- and then suddenly PUF! Stops, everything stops, and I have to "button-hold" shutdown my laptop... Before this January Update everything was smooth

At this time the only partial solution I have found is a system reboot. Started the game and origin as admin and played about 2-3 maps. Then the freeze came.Quite interesting that after 5 pages we had no news from devs.

Running the game in bordeless windowed mode seems to do the trick for me. Thanks for the help.
P.S. I understand about the bordeline specs, but it is just strange that before, there was no problem at all and all of a sudden we have this issue...

I try that as well but it still freeze around 20-30 mins of multiplayer
I think it has to do with the January update

Hi ! I played about 6 hours yesterday and i didn't experience a single freeze.

I opened and closed Origin and Battlefront (both always on Admin) several times and everything was fine. I hope it Will be the same for You.

I also hope EA Will correct this with february update. Is it possible to get sol feedback here please ?

Something i forgot to mention: I play the game on Windows 10 64. I am comvinced it's a bug with it and Battlefront.

Hi ! I played 6 hours yesterday without a single freeze. I opened and closed Origin and Battlefront (always open BOTH as Admin) several times without issues. Might be a bug linked to Windows 10 64 (i suppose that's what you've got).

EA, can you please check with devs and give us some feedback ? Could you tell us if it will be corrected with thebupcoming patch ?

I noticed the first freeze came with the first kill. EA please give us feedback !
So far i have no freeze with this workaround.

Example Chrome or Microsoft word
The game seems to freeze more frequently with these apps on!
