Some good loadout options are:
Jump Pack (get out of trouble quickly)
Scan Pulse (shows close by enemies. Walk don't run as you'll show up on their radar)
Dioxis (good for when you are holding an uplink)
I always run that one but swap out dioxis or certain maps for the Ion torpedo to take out enemy fighters.

Bacta

You can add explosive shot to cause more damage per shot to give you an edge.
The DH-17 is a good gun to run or the A280c.
When you get better, try the EE3 for distance and mid range then the EE4 for up close and personal.
