Re: Battlefront wont launch

Hi,

Please try this.

Download http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/D/dinput8.dll/5.03.2600.2180/download.html

And paste this in your battlefront game folder and try the game.

I am unsure of what file i need to download, there is a link to a program and a dll zip link

  • In blue it says download dinput8.zip

Unzip or use winrar to unzip and copy dll to game folder.

What if you put dinput8.dll inside C:\Windows\System32 directory?

Your PC: is everything updated (Windows, GPU, sound card, motherboard, etc.)?

Have you restarted your PC since game reinstallation?

Just a side note on this.  I looked at your DxDiag file and you only have a GT 650M and this is below the minimum requirement.  The minimum GPU needed for this game is a GTX 660.  So for one, you have one step down being a 650 vs 660, plus being the "M" mobile variant, this is even more under-powered than the desktop equivalent GTX 650.  So even if you are able to figure your issue out, I doubt that your PC will run this, and if you do manage to, it will be a very low frame rate on the lowest settings possible.
