@DaveRespawnAcct To begin with I messed around with the various power switches for about 30 minutes.. that didn't work and the elevator was not moving.
So I figured there might be a slight glitch, so I decided to jump off into the bottomless pits at the beginning of the jail section, until I died and could respawn..Did this multiple times without success, until the elevator eventually just glitched and moved up to the arena.
From the beginning of the jail section, I think BD1 had vanished from the game and couldn't be rescued.
And,no, I didn't quit or reload the game.

@ReaGangz Thanks, I think I just figured out how to reproduce this bug! Cheers for all the information! @DaveRespawnAcct no problem !
Should we expect a patch for those who completed the arena without BD1, soon..?

@ReaGangz I cannot promise how long it will take to put together a patch to fix this issue. To be honest, you could probably get back to this point in the game much quicker than the time it takes to put a patch through the console patch approval process. So yes, I WOULD expect a patch, but I cannot promise that it will be very soon -- sorry about that. If you want to get back to enjoying the game, I would recommend blasting through Story Mode to get back to this point, and then finding BD-1 before you proceed with the elevator puzzle. Definitely don't go up the elevator without finding BD-1 first. - @ReaGangz I had exactly the same problem, after jumping off into the bottomless pits at the beginning of the jail section I was able to get the elevator working then after the arena fight I traveled to another planet and is when I realized BD-1 was not with me, I tried everything you guys said. Then I started looking forums and that how I got here.
So after digging a little more in other sites found out that there is a way to recover the droid but also there is a way to complete the mission without it, to me sounds like a bug because then there is no way to go back and recover it.
@Finozk how exactly do you recover the Droid..?
I tried everything at first, in order to try to get the elevator working. If you could rescue BD1 before the glitch kickied in, I suspect I would have found it..
- @DaveRespawnAcct Hi I just wanted to give an update on the issue. I just noticed that a patch of some sort was pushed on Origin. Just letting you know that the issue was unaffected by it. That's all.
yea i know right? just start a new game.....lol
