Sorry to say, but no chance.  Even though @Gorath_the_Elder is correct that the speed is more important than the overall VRAM available, any card that has only 1GB of VRAM, will not have the speed required to keep up with the game, let alone the small amount of memory available.

It is time for you to do some upgrades.  The games now a days require alot more to play, and this will not change.  IF you want to continue to play games on PC, you will have to upgrade every couple of years, at a minimum.  PC gaming is, unfortunately, an expensive hobby.
