Same issue, beyond ridiculous that you need 3rd party apps to get the game to even see the rudders.

Just bought the game, VERY disappointed that it does not recognise VKB pedals, couldn't believe it! Star Citizen, FS2020 recognises them without any issues whatsoever, yet this game....
Was really looking forward to playing in VR, guess I'll wait it out a bit. If its not fixed I'll just refund, VKB pedals are hardly an unknown product here.
Playing the game having to use twist on the joystick when I've got perfectly decent pedals on the floor is absolutely annoying to the point of putting me off the game.
I'm not using third party apps when all other games I play recognise them out of the box.
