Thanks for posting, I only saw this now. That's a very odd issue, and the fix for it doesn't really match any reason that I can think of for the issue happening.

I tried the exact same thing before I read this post, then I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and then I repaired again after reading this post. I don't know why, but it did not work at all. EA needs to take immediate response to this!
