Re: Crashes at "Downloading game data..." screen

Still crashing at "Downloading game data..." - tried every obscure forum hack to work around it.

win10/steam - I had 100 hours played no problems before this. Completely clean installation with squadrons the only thing on the drive. Repaired, uninstalled, disabled various things. etc.

    Okay guys I found one techshaman in the bowels of reddit that said that against all rhyme and reason updating his bios fixed the crash, even though before now he'd already been running the game okay.

    Updating my BIOS fixed this crazy introduced crash and idk what to make of that. Maybe a conflict with the latest gpu drivers or something - just weird.
