If you reffer to the Origin friend list from in-game (Shift + F1 command) he is not displayed there.
On the other side, if you reffer to the in-game friend list (the only place he appear), I can't delete him from there, only View Profile and Let's Play options available.
This thing that happened to me is a bug and I can't get rid of it.
I tried to sent him friend request and after to delete him, but he didn't respond.
