Re: Disconnected from PlayStation network. Some features may be unavailable

Hey man,

There's another thread for this problem, hope you've found it by now! In case you didn't though, I had the same problem now fixed.

I have a modem with built in wifi supplied by my ISP (TW) and an ASUS router that my network is set up on. I had to go into my modem's settings and change it to NAT Bridged mode, among other things.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rhxl1_tiBQM

That video shows instructions for my specific modem, but the principle still applies to all of them. I did every step up to disable DHCP then stopped (you'll see in the video) because I received an error about needing to enter a Static IP, so anything involving that was skipped. If after changing to Bridged mode you get stuck on a "Your device is updating please wait" type page, just try a different ip to access the router (I had to change from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.100.1). If your not familiar with any of this, you access the menu same way you would for port forwarding, just make sure you figure out your MODEM's 192.168 default and not your router to disable this stuff.

Hope this helps. I haven't received the message again yet.

Forgot to mention, if you lose connection to internet, hard reset your modem! (Hold reset button down for 30 seconds or so while plugged in)
