I found this on one of the forums and it works beautifully! Thank's to Fjellsong. Here's what he said:

"QUICKFIX for those who cannot log in because of the driver version is not accepted.

I am running the old drivers (355.98 from 2015.9.22) on my Lenovo 50-70 with the GTX860m, and they work if one does this in C:\Windows\System32:

Rename the file "nvapi64.dll" to something like "0nvapi64.dll". This will bypass this problem.

I have no idea why this is such a problem to fix for either NVIDIA or whoever's fault this is. It seems rudamentary when one may fix this with changing the letter of a .dll file."

So make sure to rollback your driver to that version or download it from GeForce. Then simply rename that dll file in system32 to something else and the game will stop telling you to update to the latest driver!

For the Empire!

I've heard that there could be potential adverse impacts from doing this. Can anyone verify that this is safe? It seems that doing so could cause your driver to work too hard and cause some damage to it, but this really needs to be verified.
