Elevator problems happen to me a lot. So I think this might help. Whenever you're stuck like that, just put the camera over cal's head and keep pressing the attack button. As long he's twisting his lightsaber around, he won't fall down. Hope this helped.

    Thanks. This saved my game. I only ever managed to ride the lift up once (the first time I found the door from Kyyyalstaad Falls, which I rode up without realising which one it was). Apart from that, I clipped out every single time.
