it starts on full screen and anytime i click on something it goes into window mode and freaks out.

Are you using team vieuwer? If so it can help to close the program and then start BF4.
Or are you using Samsung Magican? Then disable it. Also try Alt+Enter when you are in windowed mode.
Just a couple of suggestion's that helped other people with this problem.
