@KajiOni485 That's essentially the problem - lore vs practicality. If TIEs could go at that speed, I doubt they were even close to that when chasing the Millennium Falcon inside the 2nd death star. They would immediately crash into one of the obstructions.

Many people have requested that starfighter speeds be increased....presumably to match the lore. What they're not considering is that the lore doesn't necessarily match what you see in the movies
