Re: igoproxy64.exe System Error - MSVCP120.dll is missing

I ended up marking all of them for download, and did a repair on the x86 (since install wasn't an option). The x64 - even though it was listed as installed in the Origin folder - did give me the option to "Install", which I did. The vcredist_arm.exe though, still won't install for Windows 10.

HOWEVER, it did end up solving my problem.

@yahel_1 I will mark your post for "Solution", but I might suggest that you  add info regarding the .exe that doesn't work on Windows 10 (since some one else may see what I did), and that people should just set to download all of them, instead of choose from the list.

Thank you for your help.

I'm sure it's a matter of a helpful person that isn't able to explain properly due to language differences.

The visual C++ redistributable package for x64 is for the 64 bit Intel CPU operating system.  If you are running the 32 bit Intel CPU system, you'd use the x86.  If you run an AMD system, you use the ARM package.  I suspect the ARM will install either 32 or 64 bit as needed, but I'm not sure since I don't have one handy to see if it does.

I know your problem was solved, but others may see this thread and also need a little understanding.

    HI all.

There is no need to download those Visual C++ Runtime. As coldwetn0se suggested, i installed the "vcredist_x64.exe" and repaired "vcredist_x86.exe", both setups being at the Origin folder.

The "igoproxy64.exe" and "msvcp120.dll" related massages did not appear again while running Origin.

    Thanks for the help.

  • So I am having the same issue and following the instructions you have provided. HOWEVER, I am getting this error when I try to download the C + +-
