It has more to do with your not being familiar with very common game design where skills are involved, than any specific platform, as that design and player use of it is the same across all platforms.
It's also pretty easy for most to figure out, as the skill tree clearly explains what button/key to press to activate the skill. Some might pause at first and wonder why a mere button/key press doesn't activate it, but once you get to know that many things in the game, including the menu, require holding the button/key down, it should in fact be obvious, like I said, even if it's your first time playing such a game.- Straatford876 years ago

I think it's a good reminder that seemingly simple or common things in games aren't so for everyone. A good reminder to veteran players (like myself) to assist fellow players who may be less experienced or not familiar with certain game mechanics.
