I have found that this is particularly an origin interaction bug, the overlay screws the in game menu text.
My resolution when it happens is to shut down the gam, shut down origin, with the three fingered salute (C+A+D) , not to enable cloud sync, cos it bugs out. and restart the game using the icon and ignore origin altogether. This is the kind of problem steam would have.
I followed the steps and despite all it doesn't for me, I have no text font/letters any more. ☹️

i just recently got star wars battlefront on pc and i got one of the known bugs -> Missing textsThe missing text is that all text on menu, options, game-tips, in-match subtitles, mission objectives are missing. For options, The tabs are there but not the text, if you click on it there appear are warning tab but with no text just the warning-triangle
People say i have to uninstall and reinstall Origin, but when i do that, in the beginning it asks to close all tabs, it especially asks to turn off "Origin.exe",If i remove the folder of origin manually, it says its alrdy open or in use. even i logged off or just closed all the windows of origin, it keeps asking it, i even checked on the taskmanager but nothing based on EA or origin/ if there might be any origin programs running on the background. How do i fix the missing text bug or how do i uninstall origin?Thank you.
