FIXED!!!!  HOW TO FIX:

1.  RESTORE PS4 TO DEFAULT SETTINGS (NOT REINITIALIZE) FROM SETTINGS > INITIALIZE MENU

2.  YOU'LL NEED TO RESIGN INTO YOUR INTERNET AND PSN AFTER REBOOT

3.  RESTORE LICENSES FROM SETTINGS > NETWORK/ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT > RESTORE LICENSES

4. REBOOT AGAIN (NOT STANDBY)

5. START BATTLEFRONT AND DO NOT RUSH IT!!

HOPE FOR THE BEST!

    Still doesn't work for me
  • Make sure your ports are forwarded as well.  This was the only solution which worked for me.

    What's an easy way to go about this?
  • Just change your DNS. I have the same issue since the game released, ı did everything like Port Forwarding - Rebuilding Database and it doesnt change anything. I was using Google DNS at my PS4 and ı use different DNS and my connection problem was solved.

    tried with multiple DNS still no luck ! i have to trie about 8-12 times to get into a game.

    Mine says I must be signed in to the PlayStation network to access online features. I am signed in and I also forwarded the ports that I was told to do and I still have the problem. Any ideas?

    tried everyhthing above...

    was working fine 3 days ago when i last played..

    Same problem for me.

    i have no idea what dis is or forwarding ports. I just want to put the disk in and the game work like all the other games.

    do I return for a refund or is ea resolving this?

    i see an awful lot of content on this site and on you tube complaining about the same thing but no engagement by ea.

    are we all the unofficial beta testers?

     I'm on ps4 won't let me connect I'm online but every time it says must be signed into ea account to access online features I don't get it it's been like this for days and my friends are online

    In my case it was problem with internet provider. They changed my ip protocol to IPv6, apparently Battlefront is not yet ready for this. After contacting my internet provider they changed back to IPv4 and it helped. (UPC in Poland if anyone is interested)

    Are you freaking kidding me? I'm supposed to screw around with my PS4 settings and reset my internet and pst JUST to make it accept what's already the correct f***ing password for my acount?
