Re: Season Pass & DLC Issues - PS4

If you’re on PlayStation 4:
Close out of Star Wars: Battlefront on your console completely.
Open the PlayStation Store and go to your Library.
Highlight Star Wars: Battlefront and press the X button.
Highlight Related Items and scroll over to My Add-Ons then press the X button.
Download and install the new license file for each expansion DLC individually.
It might look like it’s installing the individual DLC, but it’s only a small file if you’ve played the DLCs before.

Still doesn't work. I see a bunch of "fixes" for this and yet none of them actually work. I am showing that I own the deluxe content as well as the season pass and yet none of the dlc is available in game. I have tried all of the help and suggestions that I am seeing online from both PS4 and EA and none of it does anything.  I have tried to install each of the dlc separately and nada. There has to be an easier way to do this. I'm about to try uninstalling the game then doing it all again.

I just uninstalled the game and the dlc. Set my PS4 to download it all again. Canceled the download of the dlc and let just the game download. About 15 hours later, after the game was fully installed. I ran the game. Closed it then installed the dlc. Still getting the same error message that the dlc isn't installed even tho it very much is. Even tho I only paid $10 for this ultimate edition on special from Sony, I've still been ripped off. And there doesn't seem to be any actual solution in place. Looks like this has been on going for months now and none of these solutions work. At least not for everyone. Major fail EA.

Just got off the phone with them. Rajesh Kuthrapali told me to do everything that was suggested on these forums as well as going to the PS4 Store from my computer and refreshing the licenses that way and that still doesn't work. So not even EA knows what to do and this is their game. So any other ideas since not even contacting them helps? Because none of this works, he's supposed to be escalating it to a specialist team who's supposed to email me, more than likely with a generic computer generated email that breaks down how to do everything, on all platforms,  that doesn't work and with zero human response. Basically, I'm screwed.

Funny enough, that was the first video I watched that didn't help. Lol But I just got it figured out. I went to the Playstation Store from my PC and searched for each add on individually. Then downloaded each one that way. I thought that having the season pass was enough and that it would automatically download each set of DLC or at least provide me with a link or something. But no. It did not. So I tried that and it worked.

No it did not. I helped myself out. That video didn't show at all what to actually do.

Nice dude thx so much bro 10/10
  • I've tried everything restated, reinstalled, renew license, and the most popular install from the play store after it's already installed. Still nothing!!!
I had gotten the season pass when the game came out and had the hard copy. I sold it to GameStop and just recently bought the ultimate edition from the Sony store for 9.99 during the week special.
Does anyone have answers or at least having the same problem? I'm being to not even want the next game if it'll just be trouble like this.

    Hey @NegusKhan @Aifuu @twizlersykopath,

I moved your posts to this thread - could you please try to perform the steps outlined in the solution again and see if that works?

Please note that the Season Pass download is only a small file that makes the individual DLCs free of charge in the PSN Store. You'll still have to download them individually.

I swear to all the gaming God's that the maps where not there no matter how I looked. And now they are there. Does it just take time for it to register the maps as a downloadable object or was it just bad luck?

    Hey @Aifuu,

it might just have been bad luck. We're aware that this process on PlayStation might not be clear at first sight and try to streamline it - but as long as you can play the content, it's worth going the extra mile there. Have a great weekend playing some Battlefront!
