However, is there anyone Streaming or making Vids of how to take out a Fleet Battle Vs AI SD?
I have seen some tutorials on Youtube, but not a full match with the focus on a Y-wing. If you guys find some good Vids please help out and post the links, thanks.
Coming to a dead stop next to capital ships (like in that video) is particularly unadvisable since recent patches have made ships that do so take extraordinary damage. You want to make passes on the subsystems without stopping. There are also a couple angles you can find to approach the Star Destroyer shield generators that allow torpedoes to fire and hit them underneath the shields: moving from roughly where the targeting is, or up from either side of the tower holding the generators.
I think it's much easier to bomb beneath the shields of the Star Destroyer. The tractor beams are easier to line up under the shields (if you know where they are), same with power and shield subsystems.
Yeah quick hit and run attacks are best. When I play with my friends it's easier because we each have a job and pick our targets. If I am with randoms it can get messy.
