Re: SW Battlefront "Mode Not Supported" Samsung 4k TV

I'm confused, can you clarify this please...

"HDMI 2.0 supports 4K at 60Hz"

http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/pc-peripheral/how-connect-4k-screen-pc-3634369/

"On that front, HDMI 2.0 delivers, supporting "4K" (2160p by the Forum's explanation) up to 60fps."

https://www.cnet.com/uk/news/hdmi-2-0-what-you-need-to-know/

HDMI 2.0 Total bandwidth: 18Gbps
Bandwidth after overhead: 14.4Gbps
24bpp

2160 (4K) @ 60Hz

    @oli1984w

    You can skip my last comment as your hardware is indeed capable of HDMI 2.0 and should therefore not run into any issues with 4K.

    What I was aiming at is that you won't be able to run at 60hz without the appropriate HDMI output, which is 2.0 as mentioned above. However, your 1080 should support that without issues.

    It is also possible that there are some further settings that you need to change on your TV, or the Nvidia control panel. However, if you've currently got it working with borderless then I would just say.. enjoy 🙂

    Do let me know if you have any further questions - I will try my best to help.
