Re: VR head tracking lag after some minutes of playtime

I found a solution for me:

I disabled Ultra Low Latency in the Nvidia Settings, and enabled pre-rendered virtual reality frames = 3.

This got rid of the headtracking/graphical stutter and frametime jumping.

It's buttersmooth now.

I hope it works for you as well

Aww this didn't work for me. ☹️ It did seem smoother before the 5-10 minute stutter kicked in.

I get my Quest 2 tomorrow. Hope that works with it.

with ne patch deplolyed today :

I just tested again Mission 4 with occulus quest 1 => Big head tracking shuttering after 15 min (big black border when i turn my head) even with nvidia setting "pre-rendered virtual reality frames = 3."

I tested again with my occulus quest 2 => i can finish mission without the big black block when i turn my head, but i have still head tracking shutter... far less than oculus quest 1.

Hope they can solve this pbig bug that make the game unplayable.

  • Same problem here. Also with patch 1.2

It starts after 5 to 6 minutes in the Mission.

If you in the Hangar the game runs smoth for ever.

But in the Mission problem starts.

The game is unplayable with this Bug.

    Please fix asap

  • Still there on Quest v1 and latest patch (and after  trying the low latency off / pre rendered frames suggestion)

Just tried v4 and the stutter still occurs at the 10 minute mark (Quest 1 + Link)

I have already tried those tips in your video, but thanks for posting it anyway. Though I think that video could help someone with a lower end PC trying to get every ounce of performance.
