Resolution not set properly for Oculus Rift S

What were you doing when the bug occurred? Step by Step detail is helpful. VR Game resolution, when launching through Origin is not being set properly by the in game renderer - for Oculus Rift S users. There should be a separate setting for Oculus Rift S VR resolution that is persistent, and monitor Screen resolution should be separate and persistent. Right now they seem to be linked. The "GAME CHANGER" is to simply set the in game resolution over to (FULL WINDOW- 2560x1440 @98htz) which is as close to the Oculus Rift S native resolution of 2560x1440 @80htz However, its till not perfect, as the Oculus Rift S only has 80htz.
