2 suspects for that, well, 3 actually
1st, i always recommend a powered USB 3 hub to power the throttle, i dont know if the x56 still suffers from high power draw or weather logitech have now got it in check, so it could be a power issue
2nd, the USBs are going to sleep, change USB power management in the power options>advance power setting in control panel, find USB option and set USB suspended state to disable
3rd could just be a driver issue, i updated my drivers a while ago and it caused power drops and button ghosting, the USB3 hub fixed all of this
when the wire broke a few days ago, i tried to go back to the control pad....... yeah naaaar, wasnt long before i was fixing the joystick and trying to source a new one. its just the best VR experience ever with a HOTAS
