The better and only fix is to wait -- not too long I hope -- for a patch from EA.

@N16H7-W1N6 it took about a day after the last update for it to start working again. It is an irritating issue, nonetheless.

I'm on the latest update for Windows 10 (20H2), have the latest drivers available. I have webroot, and I still have this problem with the game, so it isn't fixed for me yet.

  webroot isnt the problem i have it disabled and the game still tries to launch through origin first then fails giving error 🏈 then once i close that it tried to boot again from epic and give me the same error again. so freaking weird.

    Disable is not enough.
    Uninstall it and I am pretty sure that the issue will be fixed.

For some reason it says it wont finish downloading because my hard drive doesn't have any space, but it does, and now it's also talking about an application error. What's the deal?
